Braces 101: What to Expect Before, During, and After Treatment

Sticky or hard foods should be avoided to prevent damage. Invisalign aligners must be worn for at least 20–22 hours daily and switched out as directed to keep treatment on track. On average, braces treatment takes 12-24 months, while traditional Invisalign typically takes around 12 months.
